his life Georg Jensen loved silver which he thought possessed "this beautiful glow of
moonlight". Originally he was educated as a sculptor at The Royal |

| Danish Academy of Art, but soon he threw his love into the work
of silver and after finishing his education for silver- smith he opened in 1904 his first
silver forge in Copenhagen. |
